  • True Domain--This is a domain using a name of your choice (yourname.com).  This domain is assigned its own unique IP number and will become your address on the internet.

  • Disk Storage--This is the amount of space allocated for you to add web pages and graphics.  The standard account has 50 Megs of storage (this converts into approximately 2, 500 files)  

  • Traffic Allowance--This is the number of pages that may be viewed monthly (2 Gigs--the equivalent of 5800 pages viewed per day or 175, 000 pages per month)

  • Email Forwarding--Using the WebControl system provided with your account, you will be able to redirect email aliases to other pop box locations of your choice.  An alias is anyname@yourdomain.com.  For example paul@yourdomain.com could be redirected to paul@atc.com, your ISP account for viewing.  You will also be able to provide friends similar aliases at your domain and point it to their ISP.

  • Unlimited Email Aliases--Unlike many systems, our network has been designed using trade-marked PlusMail system to automatically capture anyname that may be sent to your domain name.  This means, as long as the @yourdomain.com is proper, even typos in the user name will still be captured and not refused.  We also provide an ON-OFF switch on this feature.

  • FTP--File Transfer Protocol is a simple method of uploading files from your home server to the Coyote Hill server.  We provide detailed instructions in our online manual on how you can use an FTP program.

  • POP Accounts--Five POP accounts are included .  This is a private storage area for email.  It would be accessed by a third party email program like Eudora, or Netscape.  This gives you a private secure storage location for anyone sending email to the POP box that you are using.  We furnish explicit instructions for the use of POP accounts in our online manual.

 

  • Subscribable MailList--This will allow you to give your customers an email address that they can send to and add to your personalized maillist.  This is a great way to offer your customers a monthly newsletter, sales updates, or just a friendly "hello."  The PlusMail System is capable of multiple lists so you can organize what information your customers may be looking for, and a friendly welcome message can be sent.  The lists will hold up to 1000 names and you can email a message up to 75K to the lists you create.

  • Unlimited Autoresponders--You can easily create an AutoResponder with the WebControl system provided with your domain.  An autoresponder is a simple file with information you want automatically sent to people who email a designated email address at your domain.  When email is sent to your domain with the same name as one of your autoresponders, the autoresponder file is automatically returned to the sender of the email.

  • Server Side Includes--SSI or Server Side Includes, allow the server to parse special page commands.  An example would be if you had a footer you wanted on all your pages that may change from time to time, you can create a text file with the desired footer and place it in your domain.  On each page you put a simple Include to read that file and place it on the desired footer and place it in your domain.  

  • PowerScripts Web Control System--This is Coyote Hill's custom web administration system and will allow you to handle all aspects of domain administration.  You can add/edit your redirects, subscribable maillists, maillists, and autoresponders.  You can also change permissions on any of your files or directories in your WWW directory.  This will also allow you to upload, edit, rename files, and much more.
